47 Ventures from the South Area united for an unforgettable Venturing Foundations Course (VFC) on March 9th and 10th, 2024! 🚀 This year, our VFC journey took place at Sarimbun Scout Camp, where Ventures from North and East Areas also joined in the adventure. 🏕️

During the course, our Ventures immersed themselves in hands-on learning, putting their newfound skills to the test by planning and executing engaging activities. 💡 After each activity, they shared valuable insights as both organizers and participants, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. 🔄✨

Happy Founder’s Day to all our Scouts! On 22nd of February each year, Scouts from around the world take time to celebrate Founder’s Day. This day marks the birthday of our Founder, Lord Baden-Powell, who started the Scout Movement in 1907. More importantly, we come together each year to also reflect on our roles, achievements and hopes in being part of this global youth movement, consisting of 57 million young people and
volunteers across 174 National Scout Organisations.

South Area Ventures began their VFC with a worksho

South Area Ventures began their VFC with a workshop at Singapore Scout Association Multi Purpose Hall today. On the agenda were items such as the Venture Journey, Exco goal setting, and a programme planning session. Together with North and East area Ventures, they learnt about the Scout method and SPICES framework and how they could use these tools to plan their programme. Each Exco then had to present their activity proposal to the other Exco's. The ventures will now refine their activity planning and execute their programme through their self-run residential camp, giving them an opportunity to learn by doing and to make mistakes in a safe environment. @eastareascouts @northareascouts

Thai means a possibility to succeed & growth or possibility to make a great future. It is a festival to give gratitude for the harvest of the year.

On the 25th of August 2023, the South Area Cub Sco

On the 25th of August 2023, the South Area Cub Scout Field Day brought together the energy, enthusiasm, and spirit of 13 amazing Cub Scout groups! Organized by the Gan Eng Seng Dragon Scout Group, this day was filled with unforgettable moments of fun, camaraderie, and fierce competition. 🌞🏃‍♂️🏁

Our young Cub Scouts engaged in a series of exciting challenges, including the thrilling chariot race, telematch, caterpillar race, sour grapes, and the nail-biting minute-to-win-it games. With the perfect weather blessing us, these Cubs raced, climbed, and laughed their hearts out! 🏁🪶🍇💪

Catholic High Cub Scouts displayed their lightning speed and teamwork, taking first place in the chariot race, while Alexandra Primary Cub Scouts emerged as champions in the caterpillar race. 🏆🥇

But that's not all, folks! Our Scouts also put their climbing skills to the test in the sour grapes competition, with Catholic High Cub Scouts conquering the challenge with finesse. 🧗‍♂️🥇

The competition was fierce, but the spirit of togetherness prevailed. Anglo Chinese Junior Cub Scouts showcased their talent and unity, emerging as champions in both the telematch and minute-to-win-it competitions. 🎯🥇

It was all smiles throughout the event as our Cubs reveled in the games, proving that the journey is just as important as the destination. 😄🤝

In the end, the gold awards was shared among @chsscouts Catholic High Cub Scouts, @mayflowerpri.official Mayflower Cub Scouts, and Farrer Park Cub Scouts, with Catholic High Cub Scouts crowned as the overall champions! 🏆🥇

None of this would have been possible without the incredible support of @dragon_scouts A big shoutout to them for making this day one to remember! 🙌🐉

The event witnessed spirited participation from 11 units, competing in various exciting sports such as football, captain's ball, frisbee, and minute-to-win-it challenges.
