As a gift to our beloved Singapore on the 60th anniversary of her independence, Singapore Scouts is organising the SG60 Singapore International Jamboree (SG60SIJ).

Come join us in the sunny island of Singapore as we celebrate SG60 and Singapore Scouts’ 115th years of service to youth development in Singapore.

SG60SIJ will take place in Singapore at the Sarimbun Scout Camp from 18 to 24 November 2025.

We look forward to welcoming our brother and sister scouts from across the region to join us in this huge birthday celebration!

🌟 Exciting News from South Area Ventures! 🌟

47 Ventures from the South Area united for an unforgettable Venturing Foundations Course (VFC) on March 9th and 10th, 2024! 🚀 This year, our VFC journey took place at Sarimbun Scout Camp, where Ventures from North and East Areas also joined in the adventure. 🏕️

During the course, our Ventures immersed themselves in hands-on learning, putting their newfound skills to the test by planning and executing engaging activities. 💡 After each activity, they shared valuable insights as both organizers and participants, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. 🔄✨

Happy Founder’s Day to all our Scouts! On 22nd of February each year, Scouts from around the world take time to celebrate Founder’s Day. This day marks the birthday of our Founder, Lord Baden-Powell, who started the Scout Movement in 1907. More importantly, we come together each year to also reflect on our roles, achievements and hopes in being part of this global youth movement, consisting of 57 million young people and
volunteers across 174 National Scout Organisations.

South Area Ventures began their VFC with a worksho

South Area Ventures began their VFC with a workshop at Singapore Scout Association Multi Purpose Hall today. On the agenda were items such as the Venture Journey, Exco goal setting, and a programme planning session. Together with North and East area Ventures, they learnt about the Scout method and SPICES framework and how they could use these tools to plan their programme. Each Exco then had to present their activity proposal to the other Exco's. The ventures will now refine their activity planning and execute their programme through their self-run residential camp, giving them an opportunity to learn by doing and to make mistakes in a safe environment. @eastareascouts @northareascouts

Today, Indians celebrate “Ponggal“ literally meaning to boil over. Scientifically, the Sun enters the Capricorn or Makaram; it is called Makara Sankranti, but tamilians call it as “Thai Thirunal”. Thai means a possibility to succeed & growth or possibility to make a great future. It is a festival to give gratitude for the harvest of the year.
